Crypto Payment Gateway API
The pieces your payment integration needs.
Connect the order your system knows to the payment Ulasend verifies.
Create invoices on your server
Send an order amount and reference to the invoice API, then use the returned checkout URL.
Build reusable payment links
Use dynamic payment links for order-specific amounts and secure hosted checkout sessions.
Handle retries safely
Use idempotency keys when creating requests so a network retry does not create another order payment request.
Receive signed events
Verify webhook signatures and handle invoice.paid in your backend before fulfilling an order.
How it works
From a test key to a paid order.
- 01
Create a test key
Use scoped test credentials from the developer dashboard and keep them on your server.
- 02
Create and open checkout
Call the invoice endpoint with your order reference and redirect the customer to checkout_url.
- 03
Verify the payment event
Verify the webhook signature, match the order reference, and process the event idempotently.
Fits your workflow
Connect payments to the product you already run.
- Custom storefronts
- SaaS applications
- Invoice systems
- Order management
Test the whole payment journey before going live.
Use test keys and the documented test-mode flow to check invoice creation, checkout, and webhook handling. Live payment acceptance still depends on your account’s eligibility and configured assets.

Your questions,
answered.
Can I call the API directly from my frontend?
Keep API keys on your server. Your backend creates the invoice, then sends the customer to the hosted checkout URL returned by Ulasend.
How do I prevent duplicate invoices on retries?
Use an Idempotency-Key for each order creation request and follow the documented request behavior. Your event handler should also deduplicate webhook deliveries before fulfilling an order.
Which event confirms payment?
Use the signed invoice.paid webhook and match it to your order reference. Verify the signature using the webhooks guide and handle retries without duplicating fulfillment.
Do I need separate test and live credentials?
Yes. Create the appropriate scoped keys in the developer dashboard. Test mode is for integration checks; live keys are for eligible production payment requests.
