Shopify integration status

Payment adapter groundwork is available for development. Merchant installation is not available yet.

The source release includes a test-mode offsite payment adapter and protocol tests. It is not an approved Shopify payment gateway and cannot process live Shopify payments.

What is available now

Developers can review the source adapter and local protocol tests for one-time USD orders from $1 to $100,000 using USDC on Base. There is no Shopify installation link, merchant plugin download, or live payment activation in this release. Subscriptions, saved cards, bank transfers, refunds, and separate capture or void operations are unsupported.

The test adapter waits for inventory confirmation and verifies the full saved invoice quote, including applicable fees, before resolving a test payment. Browser returns and partial payments cannot resolve it. These local tests do not establish compatibility with a merchant store.

Required before merchant installation

  • Shopify Payments Partner acceptance and payments-app review.
  • Supported refund processing in Ulasend.
  • A deployed, authenticated payments service with durable payment-session storage.
  • Completed installation, privacy, and uninstall handling.
  • End-to-end testing in an authorized Shopify development store.

Shopify controls access to its payments platform. A normal storefront app or checkout button does not grant permission to operate a payment gateway. Do not enable a manual payment method and treat browser returns as verified Ulasend payments.

Use the integration overview to see which packages are available for staging tests today. Ulasend API credentials alone do not activate a Shopify gateway.
